Strings is a long running restaurant/live jazz club in bustling Kichijoji, one of the most popular neighborhoods in western Tokyo for a night out.
There is good Italian food on the menu (try the pizzas), and live music every night of the week. Vocal jazz, fusion, Latin are the main styles, with the occasional blowing quartet. Strings is a good way to start a jazz-bar hop night in Kichijoji.
