Important Notice!

UPDATE! Tokyo Jazz Site will remain online, but I’m taking a break for awhile to take care of a bunch of family things (however the OK Jazz Podcast and Tokyo Jazz Joints podcasts will continue!)

When I started Tokyo Jazz Site in 2007 there was minimal, if any, information on the jazz kissa/bar/club scene in English. But now that world has really exploded in popularity worldwide, so Tokyo Jazz Site isn’t really the unique resource it once was. I’ll keep the directory intact, and now and then will add a few new joints I have visited recently, but I’ll no longer be regularly updating the older profiles so some info may be out of date.

If you have any info on joints profiled on the site (closures, changes) then please let me know and I will get the word out.  For anything urgent, you can contact me at mrokjazz@tokyojazzsite and I’ll try to get back to you as soon as possible.

Stay safe out there, and stay grooving!

Mr. OK Jazz (James)
