Real sad news; Eddie’s Lounge in Nishi-Nippori shut its doors on Saturday after a little less than two years. A real shame as the vibe was always great with some of the best live tunes in town. (Even the rehearsals were funky).
I’ve known Eddie for ten plus years now and can safely say he’ll be back soon bringing the organ grooves, somewhere or another. Any rich jazz fans out there that want to sponsor an old school neighborhood joint featuring funky jazz, please get in touch!
