Brothers Yoshihiro and Shuya Okino have been DJing and producing records as the Kyoto Jazz Massive since they were teenagers back in the mid-1980s. Shuya recently released his life story (only in Japanese for now..) and told me that this spring will see the debut of the Kyoto Jazz Sextet. I look forward to checking out the live shows at the end of May.
