“Anthem For the New Nations” – Abdullah Ibrahim

This may be hard to find in the shops now but it’s worth looking for. The title track was written to celebrate the birth of Zimbabwe and is one of the more beautiful tracks Ibrahim ever recorded.

Although he recorded this for the Japanese DENON label in 1978 I can’t find much information about it on the web. One of my favorites by the great Abdullah Ibrahim.
