I had not heard of Anouar Brahem until just a few weeks ago, but thankfully someone on Twitter posted about his latest album ‘Blue Maqams’. Sublimely beautiful! Read about it here and be sure to pick a copy right away. I’m eager to explore his earlier work as soon as possible.
